Pedro is a Public Law and Regulatory partner at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo and head of Environment.

He has extensive experience in environmental law, waste, integrated pollution prevention and control (IPPC) and environmental authorizations.

He has worked as President of Sigma Enviro S.A., an integral environmental management consultancy company, particularly specialised in the field of waste and IPPC. He has also held different positions as a civil servant in the Ministry of the Environment (head of the Regulations Area, deputy director general of Basic Regulations and advisory member of the General Technical Secretariat).

He holds a law degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and a diploma in Community Law from the Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha. He is currently studying a doctorate program in Socioeconomic, Territorial, Legal and Educational Instruments of the Environment at the Complutense University of Madrid.
