Jesús joined Gómez-Acebo & Pombo in 1987 and became a partner in 1995. Joined the Intellectual Property and Technology Department of GA&P in 1987. Has been a full partner since 1995, and a member of the firm’s Management Committee since 2004.

He holds a law degree from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and a Master’s degree in Corporate Legal Consultancy from the Instituto de Empresa in Madrid. He is member of the Editorial Board of the journal Comunicaciones en Propiedad Industrial y Derecho de la Competencia of the Fundación CEFI (Centro de Estudios para el Fomento de la Investigación).

Teaching: Professor of the subject "Industrial Property and Unfair Competition" in the Masters in Business Law and Business Administration from the University of Navarra. (2012 – 2015); Member of the Academic Board of the Fundación para la Investigación sobre el Derecho y la Empresa (FIDE) since 2010; Member of the Editorial Board of the journal Comunicaciones en Propiedad Industrial y Derecho de la Competencia (Communication in IP and Antitrust Law) of the Fundation CEFI (Centro de Estudios para el Fomento de la Investigación) since 1996.
