David completed a secondment at the energy group Unión Fenosa – currently Naturgy – as an external advisor in the restructuring of its international business and worked in the international private banking division of Banco Santander in Geneva. He also worked at Pinhero Neto Advogados as a foreign associate in its Sao Paulo office.

David holds a degree in Law and a diploma in Business Law from ICADE and completed his doctorate studies in Civil Law – Diploma de Estudios Avanzados – at the Complutense University of Madrid. In addition, he has completed postgraduate studies at IE, the Center for American and International Law (Dallas) and Fordham University (New York).
