Gert Brandner specializes in arbitration and litigation before state courts. He represents international corporations from the energy, chemical, electronic and automotive industry, in particular on post-M&A disputes, product liability, warranties, recalls and supply agreements. His other specializations are in corporate law, where he is particularly concerned with manager liability and with advising public law entities in the field of community business law. Gert Brandner is regularly appointed as an arbitrator.

His working languages are German and English.

Gert Brandner is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA) and of the German Arbitration Institute (DIS). He is a lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences in Esslingen and at the Stuttgart Bar Association.

Gert Brandner studied international business law at the University of Freiburg and the University of Aberdeen. Whilst studying for his doctorate (Dr. jur.), Gert Brandner was an assistant at the Department of Business law of Professor Blaurock in Freiburg.
