Rachael O’Toole is a Solicitor in our litigation department and is our Dublin Financial Lines Lead. She joined the firm in 2013.

Rachael specialises in professional negligence insurance defence litigation, having extensive experience acting for a range of international and domestic insurers advising on coverage issues, liability, quantum and strategy. She represents a range of insured professionals including construction professionals, accountants, barristers, insurance brokers and property managers.

Benefiting from a twelve month secondment with leading insurer Zurich Insurance, Rachael had responsibility for the management of the financial lines claims portfolio including professional liability, director and officer and employment practice liability claims.

In addition, Rachael has experience in cyber claims, personal injury litigation, recovery and enforcement work acting for financial institutions.
