Caitlín Love practices as a Solicitor in our corporate and commercial and litigation departments, having joined the firm in 2015.

Caitlín mainly practices in commercial litigation, public administrative law and data protection law.

She has a broad range of experience in dealing with commercial disputes, including employment and intellectual property disputes, acting on behalf of institutional, public and private clients in both contentious and non-contentious matters.

Caitlín acts for public sector clients within the public administrative and regulatory law spheres, advising on issues such as statutory interpretation, compliance, defamation and freedom of information. She also acts for such clients in litigious claims including statutory criminal enforcement matters. She has experience advising public bodies on procurement related issues including providing advice on tender processes generally as well as dealing with tender related disputes and judicial review proceedings.

Having a keen interest in data protection law (particularly with regard to the enactment of the GDPR and the consequences for clients), Caitlín has a wide range of experience in advising both public and private sector clients in respect of privacy related matters.

She also has experience in advising both domestic and international insurance companies in relation to coverage issues, as well as the defence of professional negligence actions and financial lines claims.
