Career

Dimitria was the Chairwoman of the Cyprus Women’s Coop Bank Ltd (2010-2014) and served on its Board of Directors for many years.

Dimitria is a member of the Companies, Tax Planning and Stock Exchange Committee of the Cyprus Bar Association.

Dimitria also serves on the Board of Directors of the Cyprus Federation of Business and Professional Women (BPW Cyprus).

Publications

Dimitria Coucouni Andreou has been for many years the VAT editor for Cyprus in the Baker McKenzie Link, which is a valuable online legal information database of Baker McKenzie.

Dimitria is the author of numerous articles on tax and trusts in Cyprus, e.g. “The use of the Cyprus Holding Company in International Tax Planning”, “Using the Tax Treaties of Cyprus”, “International Trust Registration in Cyprus”, “The Cyprus International Trust rises”.

She was the co-editor of the 8th and 9th Volumes of “Rent Control Court Cases” in 2003 and 2005 respectively.

Dimitria is regularly on TV broadcasts speaking on a variety of legal issues and is a regular speaker of the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry missions speaking on Cyprus as an International Services Centre in many conferences abroad.
