Career

Jacob has a strong track record as adviser to commercial and non-commercial foundations on all foundation law aspects, including in relation to the setting up of foundations, donations, capital matters, charter amendments, restructuring, and other issues involving the supervisory authority. He also assists other non-profit organisations that are subject to special rules and provides advice on association and cooperative law issues.

Jacob has deep insight into corporate restructuring, corporate governance and other company law matters, and he has assisted a large number of Danish and international clients in their business transfers and private equity investments, including in planning the process, conducting the legal due diligence, and drafting and negotiating the transaction documents.

He is frequently used by clients in connection with international transactions and therefore has extensive experience in drafting and negotiating international contracts, including joint venture agreements, cooperation agreements, turnkey contracts, etc.

As knowledge ambassador in the field of foundation law, Jacob contributes actively to Kromann Reumert’s knowledge management work, which includes i.a. drafting and updating templates, writing articles and giving internal and external presentations on foundation law issues.

Jacob became a partner in 2020.
