Career

Christian Ibsen specialises in M&A, company law and complex contracts, especially within the energy and health sectors, as well as general business law.

He provides general business law advice to all types of Danish and foreign businesses, including in particular in connection with M&A processes, restructurings and company law issues. In addition, Christian has worked with the energy and health sectors for many years, gaining a unique insight into and understanding of the special challenges that face these sectors. He has played a leading role in all of the high-profile mergers that have taken place in the Danish energy sector in recent years (including the Norlys merger between Eniig and SE) and has been a key adviser in connection with the consolidation of the market for private healthcare services.

Having worked with M&A for several years, Christian has gained extensive process and project management experience, including team management and coordination of advice from foreign law firms in international transactions.

Christian is known for his solution-oriented approach, which - together with his professional attitude and strong business understanding - always add value to the client's business.

Christian became a partner in 2016.
