Tom van Helmond, attorney at law, is managing partner of the Dutch home market of Loyens & Loeff N.V. and chairman of the Life Sciences & Healthcare team.

He specialises in healthcare and (European) procurement and competition law. He advises parties in the healthcare sector and frequently acts for them in legal proceedings. His clients include healthcare insurers, (cure and care) healthcare institutions, medical profession enterprises, branch associations and healthcare entrepreneurs. Thanks to his medical background, Tom is very knowledgeable on healthcare and the healthcare sector, which is a great help when representing the legal interests of clients. Tom chairs the Life Sciences & Healthcare team.

Tom also lectures regularly and often publishes on healthcare law topics and (European) procurement and competition law in professional journals.
