Kim Lucassen, attorney at law and partner, leads the Data Protection & Privacy Team, is co-chair of the multidisciplinary (law & tax) Life Sciences & Healthcare Team and the Digital Economy Team.

Kim offers tailored legal solutions that prioritize both regulatory compliance and the protection of sensitive information and assists clients in all sectors in developing data protection and cybersecurity strategies, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations such as GDPR and NIS2. Her expertise also lies in advising pharmaceutical companies, biotech companies, medical device manufacturers, and research institutions on a wide range of legal matters.

Beyond her legal practice, she actively contributes to the broader conversation on Data Protection & Privacy and Life Sciences. Kim is a lecturer at Grotius Academy and a frequent speaker at conferences and industry events, where she shares insights on legal trends, emerging risks, and opportunities for innovation. Additionally, she is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and the Dutch privacy specialist organisation VPR-a.
