Paw Fruerlund provides assistance with disputes and dispute resolution. Paw has spent more than the past decade specialising in dispute resolution (litigation, arbitration and mediation). He has argued countless litigation and arbitration matters before all tiers of the Danish courts as well as before arbitration tribunals. Paw has also litigated and arbitrated numerous high- profile cases in Denmark. Paw handles cases concerning both Danish law and international trade law and arbitration. In regard to the latter, he has taught the course for several years as an assistant professor at his alma mater as well as been (and still is) an invited arbitrator to the elimination rounds of the prestigious Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. He heads up one of Poul Schmith’s dispute resolution teams which fields some of the foremost dispute practitioners in Denmark. Paw leverages his, his team’s and the firm’s combined wealth of experience, strong commercial and project management skills and dedication to deliver value to his clients. Through his experience, he helps clients identify and manage risks and gives timely advice to his clients in disputes. In this capacity he also regularly assesses a client's legal position and options (legal opinions) and rigorously explores the possibilities of settling matters where this is the best course for the client. Paw also has an extensive international network of highly qualified dispute resolution practitioners who can assist clients facing multi-jurisdictional disputes. His network also includes litigation funders, technical experts, etc who can assist clients with diversification of risk and costs as well as make technical assessments, etc.
