Mathias Juul Holter focuses on business-related matters, including insolvency, insurance and reinsurance, finance law and litigation. He has extensive and wide experience in the administration of complex/cross-border bankruptcy estates, handling creditor positions, litigation and in providing advice on insurance law matters, and he advises both Danish and foreign authorities and businesses in such areas. He is also co-heading our international committee. Mathias is very experienced in protecting the interests of creditors, including dealing with struggling businesses, transfers of undertakings, collection/recovery of receivables as well as matters involving attachment, injunctions, execution, etc. Mathias is also an experienced litigator in the areas of insolvency law and business law, including in particular in respect of avoidance, management liability and bankruptcy-related disqualification, and he appears as an advocate before all Danish courts including the Supreme Court. Through dealing with struggling companies Mathias has also gained great insight into the management, operation and finances of a business. Mathias is a certified insolvency lawyer and a trained project manager (PRINCE2 certified), and he has a right of audience before the Danish Supreme Court. Moreover, Mathias has unique insight of insurance law matters, including in connection with cross-border activities in particular.
