Birgit Kapeller-Hirsch has been with Schoenherr since 2017. After graduation, she worked as a legal trainee at the Regional Court of Korneuburg and the District Court of Korneuburg in Lower Austria. During her studies she worked as a trainee for a national auditing and tax consultancy and as a legal trainee in the legal department of an international company, where she gained her first experience in trademark law.

Birgit specialises in intellectual property law with a particular focus on designs, trademarks and unfair competition, handling litigation as well as non-contentious matters and assisting clients in large international trademark portfolios. She holds a teaching position at the SAE Institute Vienna and regularly writes for law journals in IP fields.
