Associate

Ema Stoyanova has been an associate with Schoenherr Bulgaria since 2023. Her main areas of practice are competition, EU and foreign trade and antitrust compliance, and she also deals with consumer protection and corporate/M&A. She has advised on merger control regimes, acting for clients in relation to alleged anticompetitive practices and agreements before regulators, and advising on market investigations and competition law compliance. She obtained an LL.B. diploma in International and European Law from the University of Groningen and, subsequently, an LL.M. diploma in International Business Law from Tilburg University. Before joining Schoenherr, Ema worked as an in-house legal associate at an international technology company in the areas of commercial law, labour law and regulatory compliance. Her working languages are Bulgarian, English and German.
