Ivan Einwalter is an attorney at law in cooperation with Schoenherr with over 15 years of experience, specializing in Corporate/M&A, but also with noteworthy experience in Banking and Finance transactions. He has been acting for clients across variety of industries, ranging from banking and finance, tourism and retail to real estate development, telecommunication and media. Apart from purely M&A mandates, Ivan also regularly advises national and multinational companies on various predominantly corporate and general commercial law issues related to their business operations in Croatia. He most recently advised TELE2 on sale of its Croatian telecommunication operator to United Group (2020), founder of Studenac retail chain on sale of Studenac to Polish Enterprise Fund VIII in Croatia, TUI AG on entry into hotel industry joint venture with company Sunce Koncern, and Societe Generale S.A. on the sale of its bank, insurance and leasing company in Croatia to OTP Bank. Before joining Schoenherr in 2015, he practised law within national Tier 1 law firm.
