Sorin-Eduard Pavel is an attorney at law with Schoenherr Romania. He is an experienced intellectual property lawyer, as well as an authorised European patent, design and trademark attorney. Eduard assists local and multinational companies on a variety of IP matters, including licensing and assignment of IP rights, dispute on domain names, conflict between domain names and trademarks, assessment of inventive step of patent application, drafting of IP agreements, registration of trademarks, designs and patents, conducting of trademark searches etc. He assists clients before the Romanian State Office for Inventions and Trademarks and the World Intellectual Property  Organisation, and the European Union Intellectual Property Office in all aspects regarding trademark prosecutions. He has acted in specific IP litigation cases before Romanian courts, particularly on trademark infringement, cancellation and revocation actions. He has also conducted a considerable number of diligence investigations on IP matters of companies targeted by M&A deals.
