Szymon Czerwinski has been a partner at Schoenherr since 2024. In addition to his legal practice, he is also a tax advisor and holds an Advanced Diploma in International Taxation (ADIT). Szymon possesses broad expertise in capital group structuring, intergenerational succession and the design of commodity supply chains and service delivery models. As the leader of a talented team supporting Polish and foreign clients, he advises on income taxes, VAT, excise, product and customs duties. He successfully represents clients in tax and court proceedings and in economic sanctions. In addition, he has amassed extensive experience in green and brown field projects and in obtaining investment incentives. Before joining Schoenherr Poland, he worked for 10 years at a national law firm and for several years at an investment fund and tax advisory companies. Szymon is a member of the International Association of Young Lawyers, the Chartered Institute of Taxation and the International Bar Association. In 2023, he was ranked second in excise tax consulting in the Dziennik Gazeta Prawna Ranking of Tax Firms and Advisors, and was recognised as a notable tax litigation lawyer by the International Tax Review.
