Attorney At Law

Sergiusz Felbur is an attorney at law, a tax attorney and a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw. He joined Schoenherr in 2024 and specialises in income taxes (CIT and PIT), Sergiusz also leads projects in other areas of tax law (including VAT, PCC, MDR, real estate tax) and has a track record of advising entities in the real estate, construction, manufacturing, retail, FMCG, automotive, financial and crypto/GemDev/IT industries. Sergiusz is the author and co-author of dozens of requests for individual interpretations and complaints to administrative courts related to the so-called Estonian CIT taxation (e.g. profits and benefits distribution, tax rates, loans, operation of passenger cars and transactions on assets and shares) as well as the author of publications and press statements in this field. Currently, he also deals with legal and tax aspects of Polish family foundations, including succession planning, while also taking into account restructuring aspects (he is the author of dozens of applications for binding individual tax rulings and complaints to administrative courts). Sergiusz participates in tax examinations and audits, including share and asset transactions (e.g. real estate property sales). He participates in audit, tax and administrative court proceedings in PIT, CIT (including withholding tax), VAT and real estate tax cases. He also supports entrepreneurs in implementing new solutions, products and services that require a comprehensive tax analysis, coordinated with business processes amendments. The solutions and structures he presents are tailored to the individual needs of each client. Sergiusz gained previous professional experience in renowned Polish and international tax consulting companies and law firms. Prior to joining Schoenherr, he collaborated with the largest insurance companies in Poland, supporting them in legal and sales aspects of the products and services offered.
