Grzegorz Filipowicz joined Schoenherr in December 2023 as a partner. His main area of practice is energy law, particularly in the realm of renewable energy such as wind and photovoltaic farm projects. He has coordinated due diligence studies on numerous RES projects for developers, investors and financial institutions for the acquisition, sale or financing of renewable energy projects. In addition, he provides legal support in the development process of RES projects, including obtaining appropriate administrative permits required to achieve ready-to-build status and securing legal title to land for the purposes of locating technical infrastructure. He has experience preparing and negotiating agreements regarding the development and transfer of PV projects (project development agreements, development services agreements). Grzegorz is recognised in the Legal 500 EMEA 2019, 2020, 2022 and 2023 rankings as a recommended lawyer.

A member of the Warsaw Bar (since 2013), Grzegorz graduated from Warsaw University (2006). Before joining Schoenherr's Warsaw office, he worked at major international and Polish law firms.
