Krzysztof Witek became an attorney at law at Schoenherr in 2024. Krzysztof specialises in competition law, combating unfair competition, white collar crimes law and dispute resolution. He advises entrepreneurs in various sectors, including FMCG, energy and banking, on competition and consumer protection matters. He also represents clients in proceedings before the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK). He conducts white-collar crime cases, representing both the defendants and the victims and has extensive experience in conducting cases concerning the protection of trade secrets. In the past he has represented clients in cases involving, inter alia, mismanagement, abuse of power by public officials, corruption charges and harm to creditors and has also conducted cases concerning the protection of the reputation of entrepreneurs (including criminal cases). He has advised in disputes concerning misleading product designations, restriction on market access and unfair advertising. Krzysztof has also supported entrepreneurs in proceedings before the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection concerning infringements of collective consumer interests, unfair use of contractual advantage, competition-restricting agreements and abuse of dominant position. He gained professional experience in the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection and in leading law firms specialising in competition law and criminal business law. He is also the author of academic articles and media commentaries on current events in competition, consumer protection and criminal law.
