Czech Republic/Slovakia: Schoenherr advises BHM Group on acquisition of major production and logistics centre in Slovakia
Schoenherr advised BHM Group, an important investment group on the Czech market, in connection with the acquisition of one of the largest production and logistics centres in Slovakia, Trenčín Industrial Park, by the acquisition of a 100 % share in ZNO Slovakia s.r.o. (now BHM Trenčín s.r.o.). With this acquisition, BHM Group has become one of Slovakia's largest industrial and logistics landlords, being the only local developer and investor in the top five.
"We are happy to have supported BHM on yet another impressive real estate acquisition in the CEE region," said attorney Michal Jendželovský who led the team. "With our extensive experience in real estate transactions, we were able to help get this interesting deal to the finish line especially quickly." Besides negotiating the share purchase agreement, the Schoenherr team also advised on transaction-related financing.
BHM Group is a private investment company founded in 2014 and majority owned by Tomáš Krsek. It focuses mainly on investments in projects and companies in the fields of new technologies and renewable resources as well as on development projects across sectors and regions.
The team advising on the transaction was led by Michal Jendželovský (attorney-at-law, Czech Republic), and also consisted of Ondřej Havlíček (partner, Czech Republic), Petr Korál (attorney-at-law, Czech Republic), Ján Farbiak (attorney-at-law, Slovakia), Tomáš Šilhánek (attorney-at-law, Slovakia) and Maria Gabriella Manzone (associate, Slovakia).
