Career

Jon Kristian is a senior partner in our Transactions department. He has extensive experience working with M&A and capital markets transactions for more than 20 years, including the Norway-based bond market. He represents strategic and financial investors in mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, debt and equity markets transactions, and corporate and debt restructurings. Jon Kristian mainly works on international transactions, often involving several jurisdictions and across many business sectors.

Jon Kristian graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Oslo in 2000. He joined Schjødt out of university and became a partner in 2010. Before becoming a partner in Schjødt, he also worked with a London firm in 2003 and at Thommessen from 2004 to 2009. From 2006 to 2009, he headed the firm’s London office. He has also held numerous leadership roles in the firm.
