Thomas is a partner in the Corporate Compliance Group and the Energy, Shipping & Offshore Department. His principal areas of work include compliance and commercial contracts. His expertise includes the topics of international trade sanctions, export controls, human rights and anti-corruption, and contracts and regulatory matters involving energy- and offshore-related projects. Thomas has assisted clients with many complex cross-border projects, corporate investigations, and integrity due diligence investigations over the last decade.

Thomas joined Schjødt in 2013 as a graduate of the Faculty of Law of the University of Bergen. He has had several secondments working as an in-house counsel in different international energy companies and worked as a Deputy Judge in a Norwegian District Court.
