Career

Gay has acted in a large number of complex Will and Estate Disputes over the last two decades, representing family members, beneficiaries, and professional trustees, often in the High Court. She has wide-ranging knowledge and experience in this area and focusses on finding a solution to even the most seemingly intractable disputes, where often emotions are running high. She also deals with lifetime disputes regarding capacity, undue influence, and fraud, and the exercise of powers by Trustees and Attorneys.

Her other specialist area is high-value Personal Injury Claims, sometimes involving life-changing injuries such as loss of sight, limbs, or permanent back damage. She deals with these with empathy and understanding whilst aiming to procure help with rehabilitation, and access to private medical tests and treatment, together with maximum damages for the client.

Gay qualified as a solicitor in 1995.
