Kypros is an experienced corporate and commercial lawyer with substantial litigation background. He is a former non-executive member of the board of the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission. He currently chairs the Companies and Capital Markets Committee of the Cyprus Bar Association and chaired the Company Law Working Party of the EU Council under the Cypriot Presidency in 2012. Kypros participated in the steering committee of the Ministry of Finance for the modernisation of the Cypriot Companies Law, Cap. 113, following the recommendations of which the Government published in 2021 a call for proposals for the drafting of a new Companies Law. Kypros was a lecturer and examiner of Company Law for the Cyprus Legal Council for 17 years. He is a recommended lawyer by Legal 500 EMEA for Commercial, Corporate and M&A and for Dispute Resolution.
