Noted for his pro-active approach and his ability to find practical and workable solutions to problems encountered in transactions, Richard has significant experience in property development, including options and collaboration and co-operation agreements, in connection with the acquisition and development of sites for mixed commercial and residential use and the acquisition of sites for care home developments.

Richard has recently acted for local private landowners in connection with an option agreement for the sale of 25 acres of land for residential development and also for a developer in connection with mixed use development on the South Coast, involving site assembly, the grant of a groundlease from the local authority and joint venture development (including complex section 106 affordable housing negotiations).
