Richard has developed considerable expertise and experience in the field of financial disputes arising from divorce or relationship breakdown, having acted for many years on behalf of individuals in high value and / or complex matters. His clients include company directors, business owners, farmers and sports stars / their spouses. He also offers specialist expericence in dealing with children's proceedings.

Richard is a qualified Family Arbitrator – one of only a handful in the Yorkshire region. He also mediates in financial and children's matters, and is a collaborative lawyer and a member of Resolution. Richard is recommended in both the Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners.
