Career

Antonio Carbonara is a partner in the Litigation & Arbitration team. He represents parties in all aspects of commercial and business law in court, including corporate law (post-M&A disputes, disputes arising from shareholders' agreements, blocking of the commercial register and other interim measures). He is also active in all aspects of debt enforcement and bankruptcy law, including the enforcement of domestic and foreign judgments as well as the freezing of assets. Antonio Carbonara advises on strategic and pre-litigation issues (dispute avoidance and dispute resolution).

His main areas of work are in the fields of financial services and real estate.

Before joining Walder Wyss he worked as a law clerk at the Commercial Court of Aargau as well as Head of Information of all courts in the Canton of Aargau. Antonio Carbonara regularly publishes in his areas of work. He is also a lecturer at the University of Applied Science FFHS.

Education

Antonio Carbonara obtained a law degree from the University of Zurich (lic. iur. 2003) and obtained an LL.M. degree from UC Berkeley School of Law in 2017.
