Mr Ted McGrath

Position
Ted is a partner with William Fry Tax Advisors and head of the Financial Services Tax team. He has over 18 years experience providing tax advice to businesses operating in the financial services industry, with a particular focus on those in the investment management sector.
Career
He spent several years working in the UK and has extensive knowledge of the international financial services industry. In addition to the investment management sector, he advises clients on a wide range of financial services transactions across all financial services sectors including banking, leasing, group treasury, securitisation, insurance/reinsurance etc. He helps clients understand the international tax consequences of transactions and how they impact on their business (and in many cases the impact on investors also).
Memberships
Ted is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland. He is a regular speaker on financial services tax related matters and has written extensively in industry journals and tax publications.
