Position

Mira's main areas of practice relate to insolvency and bankruptcy law, mortgage law, company law and enforcement actions. She works with restructuring projects with a special focus on insolvency and provides advice within a wide range of issues related to the operations of companies in financial distress. She has broad experience from complex and comprehensive restructurings of Norwegian companies in the oil/shipping sector. Her practice also include administration of bankruptcy estates, where she has been part of the teams administrating the bankruptcy estates of Faktor Eiendom ASA, Aksjespareklubben TA-Invest, Sydvaranger Gruve AS and Veireno AS. She is from April 2022 appointed as administrator in bankruptcy cases before Oslo City Court. Mira is the author of the legal commentary to the Wage Guarantee Law, published by Universitetsforlaget (available as a book and online at www.juridika.no). She is also the author of the notes to the Wage Guarantee Law published by Karnov Group Norway at www.lovdata.no. Mira has previously worked as a deputy judge with Oslo Byfogdembete, a court in Oslo who specialises in bankruptcy-/insolvency-, legal enforcement and provisional security cases. She is also an external examiner at University of Bergen (since 2015). Mira is ranked as "up and coming" within Restructuring and bankruptcy law in Finansavisen (2022 (3rd place) and 2023 (1st place), and recommended in Legal 500 as a "key lawyer" within her field.
