Arnaud Barchman Wuytiers van Vliet is a lawyer at AKD. From our Luxembourg office, he advises multinational clients, including banks, private equity houses, public and private companies on all types of financing transactions, including secured lending, securitisations, high yield debt issuances, securities laws, financial regulatory and listing related matters. He has co-authored a number of legal guides on debt capital markets and securitisation in Luxembourg.

Arnaud has gained over the years a solid and specific experience on capital markets matters, including public and private debt issuances, initial public offerings, securitisations and listing of securities on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.

Before joining AKD, he worked for 3 years with Clifford Chance in Brussels, advising clients among others on financing transactions, debt capital markets transactions (issuances by corporate and sovereign issuers and listings), mergers and acquisitions and merger clearances from competition authorities. He was also seconded to the legal capital markets securities department of BNP Paribas Fortis in Brussels.

Arnaud Barchman also worked for 7 years with Loyens & Loeff in Luxembourg, advising clients on financing transactions (including secured lending transactions, acquisition financing and regulatory matters such as licensing requirements), with a focus on capital markets matters, e.g. debt, equity and securitisation issuances, including advising issuers and shareholders on disclosure and communication obligations (deriving notably from transparency, market abuse, takeover bids regulations) and securities laws.

Arnaud  joined AKD in August 2019 as a counsel with the banking & finance’s team.
