Carlos Pita Cao is managing partner at AKD.

With two decades of experience, Carlos also advises on complex cross-border transactions, on - both domestic and international – strategic and private equity acquisitions, participations, divestments and exits, buyouts, joint ventures, and corporate restructurings, as well as on corporate law issues and critical contracting matters. Carlos is a trusted advisor to many of his clients. He counts among his extensive and diverse client base, entrepreneurs and large quoted and private companies, based in the Netherlands and overseas, as well as private equity firms. Carlos’ work spans a wide range of industries and sectors, including transport & logistics, energy, food, manufacturing, technology and leisure.

Education

Carlos Pita Cao obtained his MA in European and International Law at the Catholic University in Brabant in 2000. In 2004 he also completed the post-graduate study programme in EC Competition Law at King's College London.
