Lars Bruun is an associate partner in Accura’s Real Estate Team. In addition to providing advice within real estate, Lars also advises on a wide range of issues within the oil and chemical industries, including on regulatory matters.

Lars has vast experience as a legal advisor in connection with the sale and purchase of real estate, legal due diligence, leasing, sale and lease back agreements, construction contracts, property development projects and international property funds. Within the energy segment, Lars has advised on commercial disputes and on several matters concerning exploration and extraction of oil and gas in the North Sea, including sale and purchase as well as construction of gas pipelines, terminal operators and setup of production of environmentally friendly bio-oil in Denmark. Lars also has vast experience in litigation concerning real estate transactions, contracts and other matters, including in particular international disputes and disputes relating to M&A transactions or directors’ liability, advisors’ liability, etc., as well as disputes within the energy segment (e.g. determination of natural gas prices in connection with long-term contracts).

Lars advises a broad range of clients, including pension funds, local authorities, investors, employers, users of commercial properties, international property funds as well as Danish and foreign businesses within the energy segment.

Lars joined Accura in 2001 and has been part of Accura’s Real Estate Team since then. Lars graduated in law from the University of Copenhagen in 1989 and subsequently obtained a master’s degree in Shipping and International Commercial Law in Great Britain.

Before joining Accura, Lars spent 14 years abroad. Lars has lived and worked in Israel, Great Britain, Cyprus, Hong Kong, Shanghai and the Netherlands, which has provided him with a strong international profile. During his stays abroad, he worked in the oil and chemical industries focusing on general management, project development, commercial transactions, logistics, international trading conditions and a wide range of disputes.

Lars has been on the other side of the table as a client of numerous international law firms and thereby gained a profound understanding of clients’ commercial needs and demand for targeted advice.
