Peter Østergaard Nielsen is a partner in Accura’s Renewable Energy Team.
Peter has been involved in the most cutting-edge offshore wind developments both in Europe and globally.
Peter has previously acted as in-house legal counsel in the early stages of the development of the offshore wind industry and has an impeccable knowledge of both the developer and the supplier side of projects.
Peter is known and recognised globally for his improvement of risk-sharing models, optimisation of wind-farm operating processes and supplier interfaces, split of technical risks, “up-side sharing” mechanisms, and mechanisms for the protection against the impact of new technology and models that support structures in support regimes.
