Richard advises print and online publishers on libel, privacy, contempt and related legal problems. He has many years’ experience of giving pre-publication advice, to national, regional and magazine publishing clients, of dealing with claims against them and their insurers in a cost-effective way, and of keeping their staff updated on the law.

Joined Oswald Hickson Collier in 1973; made a partner in 1976; joined Crockers Oswald Hickson as a partner in 1997 (merged with Farrer & Co in 2001).
