Markus Schönherr is Senior Associate at ADVANT Beiten's Dusseldorf office and member of the practice group Corporate/M&A. His area of expertise comprises, inter alia, complex cross-border corporate transactions. He particularly focuses advising on national and international clients as well as family-owned businesses with attention to mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructurings as well as general corporate law issues. Furthermore, he has gained special experience in the field of German foundations.

Markus Schönherr studied law at the University of Jena and was admitted to the German Bar in 2017. Prior to joining ADVANT Beiten, Mr. Schönherr worked as Associate with a leading international UK and Australian based law firm in its Dusseldorf office. He has been working with ADVANT Beiten since 2019.
