Career

Tanja Hogh Holub is Partner at ADVANT Beiten's Munich office and member of the practice group IP/IT/Media. Her practice covers all aspects of intellectual property with a strong focus on trademarks, designs and domains combining prosecution and litigation.

She focuses her practice on advising her domestic and international clients from various industries on all aspects of trademarks and designs including clearance searches, the strategic development and management of worldwide trademark and design portfolios as well as their enforcement and defense. She has vast experience in representing her clients in registration, opposition and cancellation proceedings with the German Patent and Trademark Office (Deutsches Patent und Markenamt), the Federal Patent Court (Bundespatentgericht), the Office for Harmonization (Harmonisierungsamt) and the European Courts. Another important area is the trademark litigation with German Courts and the drafting, review and negotiation of all relevant agreements, in particular license contracts. Her fields of expertise also cover domain name disputes with German Courts and with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). Her domestic and international clients are doing business in various industries with a focus on sports (sports clubs and international sports federations), publishing and manufacturing of clothing.

Tanja Hogh Holub studied law at the Universities of Göttingen and Paris and was admitted to the German bar in 2001. She has been a specialist lawyer for intellectual property law since 2008. Tanja Hogh Holub has joined ADVANT Beiten in 2001 and became a partner in 2008.
