Position
Henrik Peytz (1959) is a partner with Nielsen Nørager and has more than 30 years of experience in Danish and EU competition law and general EU matters. He and his team assist Danish and international clients in all kinds of competition matters (such as merger control, cartel investigations, abuse of dominance, and state aid) and are involved in some of the largest Danish court cases in this area. The team further advises on matters involving public regulation (such as public procurement, regulation of the media, telecommunications, taxes and duties). Henrik Peytz holds an MBA with distinction from INSEAD (1991). He has extensive experience with cases before the Court of Justice of the European Union and has represented the European Commission at several occasions before the Court.
Career
The law department of the Ministry of Justice (1983-1984). Kromann & Münter Law Firm (now Kromann Reumert) (1984-1999), Clifford Chance, Brussels (1990), Teacher in administrative law, University of Copenhagen (1983-1984), Lecturer in EU competition law, University of Copenhagen (2001- 2010). Since 1993 lecturer for the Danish association of lawyers and economists and the Danish Bar and Law Society on matters relating to EU law and public procurement. Author of several books on tax law and contributor to Danish commentaries on EU law (right of establishment and free movement of services).
