Senior Partner

Since 2021, Francisco Lyon has been a Senior Partner at KPMG in Chile. Lawyer from the Gabriela Mistral University (1996) and Master in Tax Planning and Management from the University of Santiago de Chile, with more than 27 years of professional experience.

Between 2010 and 2020, he served as Lead Partner of the Tax & Legal area at KPMG Chile. Previously, he was a partner at one of the most prestigious law firms in Chile.

He has been a professor at different universities in tax specialty courses, both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including the University of Chile and the Catholic University of Chile, also giving various seminars on the specialty. He was a member of the Capital Market Advisory Council of the Ministry of Finance during the last two governments of Presidents Bachelet and Piñera (2014 to 2022); President of IFA Chile (local branch of the International Fiscal Association) between 2019 and 2022, currently being a director, as well as a member of the Bar Association, among other union and academic activities.
