Specialises in intellectual property cases, in particular in disputes concerning copyright and related rights as well as patent law and in unfair competition, antitrust, and consumer protection cases. He has represented clients in precedential disputes concerning the protection of pharmaceutical patents and copyright protection on the Internet, as well as in proceedings before the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection. Assistant professor in the Chair of Intellectual Property Law at the Jagiellonian University. Author and co-author of academic publications.

Education

Tomasz Targosz is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków and is  an assistant professor in the Chair of Intellectual Property Law at that university. He is also a graduate of the School of American Law at the Jagiellonian University and the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, Washington. In 2004-2006, he was a member of the Graduate College of the universities of Krakow, Heidelberg and Mainz, and a visiting fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Intellectual Property, Competition and Tax Law in Munich.
