Career

Bolette joined Zacco in 2013. With her extensive career spanning both the public and private sector, she has over 10 years of experience within private practice, in-house and consultancy. She also spent almost seven years working within the Trademark and Design Department of the Danish Trademark Office as a Legal Advisor, where she specialised in office actions, trained other advisors and advised on trademark and marketing law, copyright and design rights at both national and international levels.

Her focus is on helping clients to develop and implement their international trademark filing and prosecution strategies and she advises on a range of enforcement options, often able to offer valuable insight and tailor made advice in contentious and non-contentious matters, clearance, unfair competition and marketing law.

Alongside her skilled management of trademark portfolios, Bolette has specialised in legal consultancy, and her commitment is recognised by multiple clients who choose to stay with her for the long term, many of whom she has worked alongside since joining Zacco. She is often invited to join the brand planning and development process in the early stages, giving her the opportunity to advise on and pre-empt potential IP issues before they arise.

She currently works with clients across multiple established and emerging sectors including packaging, Food and Beverage, Telecommunications and Entertainment, among others.

Bolette holds a Master of Law from the University of Copenhagen where she completed her studies in 1999.
