Dr. Ádám György, partner, attorney at law

Ádám György is an attorney at law at SBGK with 8 years of experience. His practice area covers the full scope of IP legal advice, with special focus on designs and trademarks. Earlier, Ádám worked as a trainee and as an associate in Munich, Germany. He regularly advises Clients in obtaining IP rights and later enforcing them.

Ádám is a member of the most prestigious and relevant Hungarian (Hungarian Trademark Association, Hungarian Industrial Property and Intellectual Property Association, Hungarian Innovation Union) and international IP organisations (International Trademark Association, European Communities Trade Mark Association, Association of Young Lawyers) and in 2018 he was elected in the New Membership Committee of the Budapest Bar Association. He is also a mentor of the Hungarian Fashion and Design Agency and the leader of the Legal Committee of Young Entrepreneurs Association Hungary (FIVOSZ).

Ádám holds a degree from Eötvös Loránd University, he participated in the Erasmus scholarship program, in Valencia. He acquired an LL.M. degree in Intellectual Property and Competition Law from Munich Intellectual Property Law Centre, and he is currently a Ph.D. candidate at ELTE University.

Ádám has an extensive publication activity and he is a regular speaker at national and international conferences. Apart from Hungarian he speaks English, German and Spanish.
