Carly's work in the Restructuring and Insolvency group encompasses both individual and corporate insolvencies, acting mainly for office holders and creditors (both secured and unsecured) to recover and realise assets. She primarily acts for insolvency practitioners, various categories of financier, distressed companies and their directors.  She is also frequently called upon by corporates who have encountered insolvency issues with their contractual counterparties.  Her experience covers the full range of insolvency work, from advising boards, trading insolvencies, buying/selling distressed business, through to large multi-jurisdictional frauds.

Sector experience includes retail and hospitality, life sciences and healthcare, energy and tech.  Carly is praised by clients for being "technically strong and determined" and that she "bring(s) a refreshingly commercial approach to insolvency work, excellent technical knowledge and a real ability to get to the core of the problem."
