Career
Tim recently acted as the solicitor to the inquests into the deaths of 96 Liverpool fans at Hillsborough on 15 April 1989. He has also acted as the deputy solicitor in the 52 inquests into the London Bombings of 7 July 2005 and in the inquest into the death of the Russian dissident, Alexander Litvinenko.
Tim provided advice to a client involved with the Leveson Inquiry into the phone hacking scandal and represented Iraqi witnesses in the Al Sweady Inquiry. Tim advised the BBC on matters arising from the Jimmy Savile scandal and acted as the solicitor to the Commission of Inquiry into the death of the second UN Secretary General, Dag Hammarskjold.
Tim previously worked for the Government Legal Service and acted as the deputy solicitor to the Baha Mousa Public Inquiry, chaired by Sir William Gage, which examined the death of an Iraqi prisoner in British custody in Iraq in 2003.

He has written various articles, most recently in the New Law Journal and in the Pharmaceutical Executive.
