Position

Jonas Mark is a Partner in Fieldfisher's Munich office and has represented national and international clients in Litigation and Arbitration for over 18 years.

The focus of his work is representation in complex commercial law disputes, in particular Corporate Law, Commercial Law, Tax Law and Insolvency Law. Furthermore, he represents and advises in insurance liability disputes in the area of advisor and manager liability.

He has particular expertise in the management, defence and enforcement of mass claims.

His clients are national and international companies and groups in all sectors, as well as shareholders and entrepreneurs. However, his clients also include insurers, managers and law and tax firms.

Together with his team, he represents the interests of our clients with the utmost commitment and always fight for positive and fair solutions. In particular, he uses his negotiating experience from more than 2,500 court cases.

    • Representation of a shareholder in a corporate dispute and defence of claims in the high double-digit millions in various arbitration and ordinary court proceedings
    • Representation of an international importer in the arbitral enforcement of the ineffectiveness of the revocation of a trade licence
    • Representation of a shareholder in a corporate dispute in a joint venture, which ended with the redemption of the opposing shares.
    • Representing a company in the aerospace industry in a corporate dispute and claiming damages in the hundreds of millions (various ordinary and arbitration proceedings)
    • Representation of several investment funds in the enforcement of tax claims against the tax office in the hundreds of millions of Euros
    • Representing an investment fund in the enforcement of several hundred individual claims against investors
    • Representation of a company in the enforcement of assigned and bundled insurance claims in the hundreds of millions of euros
    • Representation of various hotel chains in all contentious matters

Career

Prior to joining Fieldfisher, he worked at several large international law firms. In 2012, he founded his own litigation boutique, which he brought to Fieldfisher in 2019.
