Quinton is an experienced commercial crime barrister bringing an extraordinary perspective to bear for his clients, thanks to the time that he spent at the independent criminal Bar (trial attorney) at the start of his career followed by years as a leader and, ultimately, as Managing Partner of a specialist commercial crime boutique.

Quinton has represented witnesses and suspects, individuals, and corporates, in some of the most high-profile commercial crime investigations and prosecutions of the past decade, including those in relation to Alstom, Rolls Royce, Rio Tinto, and ENRC.

Quinton has conducted cross-border internal investigations across the globe and advised multinational companies on their commercial crime and associated compliance procedures. He has acted as an expert witness in relation to commercial criminal law.

His experience includes working with clients across diverse sectors including energy and extractives, financial services, food and drink, transport, logistics, and sport.

Quinton was appointed as criminal Recorder (part-time Crown Court judge) in October 2020.
