Clients come from all sectors including financial services, consumer platforms, life sciences and MedTech. Renzo has a particular focus on cloud computing, the “internet of things”, and big data.

Renzo's  data protection expertise includes international compliance projects (such as binding corporate rules and governance generally), privacy impact assessments, data breach response and disputes around subject access.  He enjoys working closely with clients to devise pragmatic solutions to their compliance needs, often international in scope.

Prior to becoming a solicitor, Renzo worked for five years as a software engineer at Logica (now CGI), a major independent UK software house, where he was engaged in designing, programming and testing complex software applications (primarily in an UNIX/C environment).

Renzo holds the Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E), Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT) and Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP) statuses of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).  He is on the IAPP's faculty teaching towards the CIPP/E qualification.
