Julian Bassemir is an Associate in Fieldfisher´s Frankfurt am Main office and advises on all aspects of Banking and Capital Markets Law.

His work includes advising national and international companies and credit institutions on issues of Banking Supervisory Law, including Compliance for financial institutions, Securities Supervisory Law, in particular Prospectus Law and the regulation of derivatives trading, and Capital Markets Civil Law, for example on master agreements for derivatives transactions.

Before joining Fieldfisher, he completed his legal traineeship at the Higher Regional Court of Frankfurt. During this time, he already worked in Fieldfisher's Financial Markets & Products practice group. He was also able to gain valuable experience in the areas of Compliance and White Collar in an international law firm.

He advises our clients in German and English.

He studied law at the universities of Mainz and Gießen.

He was admitted to the bar in February 2023.
