Position

Celin Fischer, LL.M. (Tilburg) is an Associate in Fieldfisher´s Munich office and advises on various areas of IT Law.

A particular focus is on advising national and international clients in the area of Data Protection Law. This includes the implementation of data protection requirements as well as the support of regulatory procedures.

Furthermore, she advises on the use of new technologies and help to implement them in accordance with the applicable legal situation, e.g. in the area of the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

She advises our clients in German and English.

Education

She completed her legal traineeship at the Higher Regional Court of Stuttgart, with stations in the legal department of an international company and with the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.

Before starting her legal traineeship, she furthered her education in the field of Law and Technology within the framework of an LL.M. in the Netherlands. During that year, she specialised in particular in Data Protection Law, with a special focus on the applicability of the EU GDPR in the area of Artificial Intelligence. Furthermore, the focus was on the regulation of new technologies, the e-commerce sector and Contract Law. At the same time, she did research on data protection for the INFO-LEG project.

She studied law in Leipzig and has already worked there for two and a half years in a law firm in Data Protection.
